Kristi Smith
HEAD TRAINER
Kristi began her impressive junior career with Karen Healey and trained with Olympian Leslie Burr Howard. With her junior jumper Artesian, she achieved incredible success including championships at Harrisburg, Washington, Devon, and a win at the famous Newport Jumping Derby. She has continued success in both hunter and jumper rings with many Grand Prix wins. Kristi coaches students to compete in prestigious finals including the USEF Medal and ASPCA Maclay Finals, training riders up to Grand Prix level.
Caitlin Geary
BARN MANAGER / ASSISTANT TRAINER
Caitlin has been riding horses since the age of 7 and has shown competitively all around New England. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2022 with a degree in animal science, and was an active member of their IHSA team. After graduation, she worked as a barn manager, road manager and groom for several years, all while showing her heart-horse, ET, in the hunters and equitation, placing in the ribbons in a number of local and national adult equitation finals. She currently is enjoying bringing along her young horse Crispi, whom she bought as a barely-broke 4 year old. Caitlin gets fulfillment from seeing the progress made with horses and riders and loves being an integral part of their development.

Amy Olszewski
TRAINER & GUIDANCE COUNSELOR
Amy has been a part of Cedar Brook Farm for over 15 years. As a junior rider she was successful in both hunter and jumper divisions. She provides instruction to beginning and intermediate riders, introducing students to the fun of the show ring and basic horsemanship skills. Amy and her students have won many local and regional awards. She is also a full-time guidance counselor in the Branford, CT school district.
